Hola! Im a 24 year old medical student from Norway who spent the fall of 2009 in Buenos Aires working as a volunteer. My spanish level was initially very low and I needed an intensive language course to be able to function in my work. The first three weeks of my stay I took a course with Sara. We met every day for two hours and worked hard together to improve my spanish. I noticed that I learned a lot during this time and that I could communicate quite decentlly after the 3 weeks were over.
I decided to continue taking Saras courses throughout my stay in Buenos Aires. We met 2-3 times a week and worked with written and oral spanish. The courses, combined with everyday use if the language was very effective for me. At the end of my stay I was amazed by the amount of spanish I had learned.
I liked taking courses with Sara because she is very good at seeing what you need to learn. She gives you work that is related to your interests and language needs, and she varies the content of the courses so that it continues beeing interesting. Sara is an intelligent, funny and warm-hearted lady who is very easy to get along with. She has lots of knowledge about the history of Argentina, Buenos Aires and of course tango. I got to learn a lot about all of this during my period with Sara's courses. I would recommend these courses to everyone trying to learn spanish in Buenos Aires!
